Aloha! I am Nick Pugay and it’s so nice to meet you…

I was born and raised on the island of Oahu, Hawaii.  My lifelong love of the ocean turned into a passion of photography when I photographed my first wave through the lens of a camera.

I began my photography career as a surf photographer.  I’ve been blessed to have my photographs featured in various domestic and international surfing publications.  I’ve also had the privilege of traveling on assignment to Mexico and Cooke Islands.  My surf photography background has allowed me to introduce underwater engagement sessions to couples who were looking for something different and unique.

I entered the wedding industry in the year 2005 and never looked back.  I enjoy the challenge of preserving forever the beauty of a fleeting moment that the eye can often miss.  I have since broadened the spectrum of my work to also include maternity portraits, family portraits, newborn and baby photography and professional headshots.

The support of my wife, family, friends and my clients (Some who I now call my friends) has allowed me to continue to pursue my passion.  Without their support, I would never be able to do what I love… capturing your most precious moments.
